About Us

The CEAS portal help cooperators and general public in developing their own technical, organizational, and management skills and practices in order to improve cooperatives functioning and businesses, and motivate individuals to join the cooperative movement. The CEAS portal is made up of two main components: Learning Management System (LMS), and Cooperative Knowledge Centre (CKC).

Learning Management System(LMS)

The LMS is an integrated platform for making cooperative members, leaders, employees, youth, women, and opinion leaders aware of and educated on all elements of cooperative management.

The LMS helps you to meet the difficulties of the modern economic and social landscape while also promoting Some placeholder content for the collapse component. This panel is hidden by default but revealed when the user activates the relevant trigger.

Need

Cooperative Education and Training (CET) is not merely a prerequisite but a permanent condition for ensuring sustainable competitiveness of cooperative business enterprise as well as for evolving as a self-regulatory organization. Cooperative members, leaders, and employees must thus be educated on various aspects of the cooperatives as an "Institution" and "Enterprise".

Furthermore, cooperatives are often misinterpreted as entities led and governed by senior aged members. To revitalize this ageing movement, youth and women, as well as the general public, must be educated on the nature and benefits of the cooperative business models that may help them achieve their goals as individuals, communities, and society as a whole.

Query Management System(QMS)

The QMS allows users to express their concerns pertaining to cooperative functionality, business affairs, operational and management challenges, and so on in order to receive quick and high-quality advice.

The QMS is divided into two parts: New Queries and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). Registered users can submit questions independently via the "New Queries" option as well as the FAQs section.

Need

Cooperatives are governed according to Cooperative Laws as "member-controlled institutions" and "business enterprises." States/UTs in India have their own Cooperative Law (Acts/Rules). All cooperative societies having an "area of operation" confined to the boundaries of the state shall be registered under the applicable laws of the states/UTs. The Multi-State Cooperative Societies Act (MSCS) requires cooperative societies with an "area of operation" in more than one State/UT to register

Because of regulatory complexities and other socio-political factors, cooperative members and the general public continue to be disadvantaged when it comes to accessing quality and timely information, knowledge, and services in managing the functionality of cooperatives and day-today business affairs, and evolving as a "self-regulatory institution." Youth and women, the cooperative movement's future, confront further impediments to understanding the nature and advantages of cooperatives and their services.

Cooperative Resource Center(CRC)

The cooperative Resource Center is an essential aspect of the cooperative extension and advisory services portal that acts as a platform for stakeholders to collaborate and exchange cooperative-related information and knowledge. The CRC includes information on several economic areas/ sectors that are important to cooperative firms. The CRC is made up of many major components, including cooperative law (both central and state), information and statistics, programmes and policies, and knowledge and resources. This online platform has been designed to be user-friendly in order to give stakeholders with simple access to information and expertise.
